Who Protects The Transgender Teen?

We need to protect the children and this includes not putting our transgender children and teens in dangerous situations by sending them to the designated bathroom of their chromosome birth.

It makes me sad to see people ranting on about the perils of transgenders using the bathroom when their child is there. Don’t you know it opens the doors to molesters? The image of the burly bearded man peeking over the stalls gives us a glimpse of the future. Not much in common with the actual transgender teenager who just needs to do what you do in the bathroom. That teenager who is someone’s son or daughter. Picture this, this kid wearing a dress with heels going in the men’s bathroom. What could possibly go wrong? How many gay kids are beaten and bullied on a daily basis? What if it was your kid?

Same scenario: Kid in dress goes in the ladies room. Walks in stall, does what needs to be done. What are you noticing? Nice dress, nice shoes. Right? And then you do what you are supposed to be doing and you move on.

Let me remind you that there are monsters everywhere. Kids get molested by people in schools, sports, by church members, and let us not forget my favorite molesters; FAMILY AND FRIENDS. I would say the odds are pretty high that they ARE NOT a transgender who needs to take a leak in peace.

Bathrooms have changed. Thanks to the ADA, stalls are now wheelchair accessible.

Perhaps instead of pushing the “You can feel how you want to feel, but not in my bathroom” agenda, why not push for unisex bathrooms. Why can’t we have all three? One for men, one for women, and one for everyone. I believe some places have what are called “family” restrooms. Same thing.

A woman’s bathroom is fine for a little boy to go in with his mom. We have private stalls. Men’s bathroom have urinals. All is hanging out front. Not so great for a little girl who is with her daddy to go into. Yet there is no choice.

I would prefer to see fighting for a mandatory unisex/family bathroom platform instead of the fear mongering, the pervs are going to get us in a public bathroom, platform that I have seen. I would prefer to see a platform to protect the children from molesters which includes all the children.

The Twitter Followers You don’t Want

Admit it. If you use Twitter, there has been that envious moment in your life where you see a person with thousands of followers and you have less than a hundred. What magic spell has been cast to attract the followers to this person? They must know something or someone you don’t, right? What’s the next action you do when you want to find out how to do something? Simple. You google it. Jackpot!

Instant followers at your fingertips. How To Get Free 200+ Followers On Twitter

And it works! I tried it. I went from 132 followers up to 320 in just an hour! Yahoo!!!!

Except …I actually wanted followers who would have an interest in my content and I wanted followers who I would be interested in what they had to say. Not exactly what I received.

tweet followerYeah, we don’t speak the same language.

I should also mentioned that a mere eight hours later, there were 50 unfollows from the previous night’s gathering.

Out of the 200 new followers, I kept only one or two.

On the other hand, by following the seven steps on how to build a following, I do have new followers who I liked (as in really liked them) and followed them back. I won’t get 200 in a day, but the foundation is strong and I don’t have to look at empty figures.

Seven Steps To Build A Following: How To Increase Your Twitter Followers- The Right Way

  1. Give Value – provide good content.
  2. Use #hashtags appropriately. Don’t # every word.
  3. Engage with followers. Converse with them.
  4. Be helpful. Retweet your followers.
  5. Aim for peak times to tweet your best material.
  6. Aim for retweets. Write something worth retweeting.
  7. Follow people who have the same interests.

I think the vet put an alien inside Flower when he spayed her. The first night after surgery was worrisome. Now she is acting 100% full blooded healthy puppy. She used to be a quiet calm dog. That’s over.

What are the odds? I grabbed a coke at the checkout stand as a spontaneous buy. Get to the car & Steve is feeling a bit of pain after his PT. So I offer him my coke. Normally he refuses, but today he accepted. Get home & notice the back of the bottle. Made me laugh.

Are Book Signings Beneficial?

Are Book Signings Beneficial?

A friend informed me the Copper Q was looking for local writers to do book signings and provided me with the contact person to call if I was interested in participating. Maybe… except the Copper Q is located in Big Bear which is not exactly around the block from me. This is one long road up a tall mountain.

I had to do some research. For example, what is this Copper Q place? Turns out to be a…
